BCV was founded in 1845, and has gradually expanded and diversified its business activities ever since. We are now Switzerland's second-largest cantonal bank, and one of the country's top five full-service banks.

We are close to our customers thanks to our network of branches and ATMs, which is the largest in Vaud Canton. In each of Vaud's regions, we provide individuals and businesses with personalized advice. In line with our mission as a community bank, BCV plays an active role in Vaud Canton's day-to-day life, supporting various sporting, cultural and social events. BCV's asset management business represents a relatively new area of expertise, having been set up in 2001. It gives both institutional and private investors rapid access to all our asset management services, and offers the high level of performance and professionalism they need.
